Travel + Leisure has released the results of the 2013 T+L 500 Worlds Best Hotels and The Inn at Little Washington secured the No. 1 spot for Americas best hotels for foodies and a top overall rating of 90.44. Travel + Leisure cites James Beard Award-winning Chef Patrick OConnells creative dishes, such as Carpaccio of Baby Lamb with Caesar Salad Ice Cream and Pappardelle with Chanterelle Mushrooms, Apricots, and Virginia Country Ham. The 2013 T+L 500 guide, featured in the January issue of Travel + Leisure, is a compendium of the highest-ranking hotels and resorts worldwide, based on data collected in the Travel + Leisure 2012 Worlds Best Awards readers survey.

The Inn has also been recognized in last two months as the longest tenured AAA Five Diamond Restaurant and as one of the top 5 resorts in the world for food and wine by Andrew Harpers Hideaway. In addition, the restaurant has once again been voted #1 in all categories in the 2013 Washington DC Zagat Survey with a near perfect score of 29, 29, 29. The wine list was honored for the 17th consecutive year with the Wine Spectator Grand Award.
